2017 del Rios Shiraz
Tasting Notes
The 2017 del Rios Shiraz has a deep purple to ruby hue in appearance, it has lifted aromatics of black cherry liqueur, dark chocolate, spice and pepper with hints of vanilla and artichoke leaf. The palate is medium-bodied, filled with fine suede-like tannins, and well-balanced acidity. The finish lingers with rich black fruit and spice flavours.
93 Rating - Gary Walsh - Dark berries, suede and spice, sun-dried tomato, some lavender perfume and a little vanilla. It’s medium-bodied, flush and deep with dark berry flavour, plenty of fine suede-like tannin, balanced acidity, and a long dark spicy finish. It’s very Geelong, and really pretty good.
